Wain Estates launches public consultation for a residential-led development at Abbotswood Ridge Neighbourhood (south), Wychavon Town
Wain Estates has announced the launch of a public consultation on plans for a new high-quality residential-led development at Abbotswood Ridge Neighbourhood (south), which forms the southern part of the proposed Wychavon Town new settlement.
The primary focus of this consultation is to provide people with information about the top-priority objectives within the southern neighbourhood of Wychavon Town.
The site will deliver approximately 1,200 dwellings providing a mix of types, sizes and tenures, including affordable housing. The development will be designed to respond sensitively to its surroundings, set within a comprehensive network of ecological and wildlife corridors. Strong connectivity throughout the site — and to the local centre and wider area — would be prioritised to encourage sustainable travel.
Alongside the residential development, the scheme will also deliver the following key elements:
a) A new Stoulton relief road (also referred to as the Stoulton Bypass), delivered alongside the development and connecting the B4084 to the south of Stoulton;
b) A new 2FE primary school;
c) A new Local Centre to meet the daily needs of residents;
d) Forty per cent Green Infrastructure across a range of typologies, including the ‘Ridge Park’;
e) Sports pitches and changing facilities; and
f) A minimum 10% Biodiversity Net Gain

The deadline to respond to this consultation is 4th March 2026
